I was born in Daejeon, Korea. I received the B.S. degree in industrial
engineering from Hanyang University in 1985, the M.S. degree in computer
science from Iowa State University in 1988, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical
engineering and computer science from Northwestern University in 1990. I joined
the faculty of Division of Electrical
and Computer Engineering at Chungnam National University, Korea, in 1991. My
research interests include computer and communication security, and electronic
payment system.
